on time
表示「準時、按預定時間」，不早不晚。常放在 be、arrive、start、leave、pay 等動詞之後作時間副詞片語。注意與 in time（及時、趕上、來得及）區分：若是趕在截止或某事發生前，通常用 in time。

right on time
加強語氣，表示「剛好準時／一分不差」。語氣比 on time 更強烈。
on-time
作形容詞時需加連字號，且僅能放在名詞前（attributive）。如 on-time delivery（準時交貨）、on-time payment（準時繳款）。作表語時不可用連字號，應用 on time。
