基本公式

How + be 動詞 + 主詞（the weather） +（地點副詞片語）+（時間副詞）？
用 How 詢問天氣的程度或狀態；口語常縮寫 How's。
範例：
How's the weather in Tainan today?
今天台南天氣如何？
What + be 動詞 + 主詞（the weather） + like +（地點副詞片語）+（時間副詞）？
like 為必要元素，用來引出「天氣的樣子／特徵」。
範例：
What's the weather like in Taipei this morning?
今天早上台北天氣怎樣？
How + be 動詞 + 形式主詞 it +（地方副詞）+（時間副詞）？
it 代指天氣，口語常用來問外面狀況。
範例：
How is it outside now?
現在外面天氣怎樣？
What + be 動詞 + 形式主詞 it + like +（地方副詞）+（時間副詞）？
與上式相同語意，但用 like 要求對方做描述。
範例：
What's it like outside today?
今天外面天氣怎樣？

答句公式

It + be 動詞 + 形容詞（sunny, rainy, windy, cloudy, cold, hot）
範例：
It's sunny today.
今天是晴天。
It + be 動詞 + 動詞現在分詞（raining, snowing, drizzling）
範例：
It's raining now.
現在正在下雨。
It + be 動詞 + 數字 + 度（°C/°F）
範例：
It's 28 degrees today.
今天28度。
