基本公式

主詞 + 動詞（think/know/say/believe 等） + that + 子句（主詞 + 動詞）
that 在受詞位置常可省略
範例：
I think (that) he is right.
我覺得他是對的。
主詞 + 動詞（tell） + 受詞（人） + that + 子句（主詞 + 動詞）
say 不可直接接人，用 say to + 人
範例：
My dad told me that we could go.
我爸告訴我我們可以去。
That + 子句（主詞 + 動詞） + be 動詞 + 補語
書面語常見；主詞位置不可省略 that
範例：
That we have a holiday is great.
我們放假這件事很棒。
It + be 動詞 + 形容詞/名詞 + that + 子句（真正主詞）
虛主詞 it 讓句子更自然
範例：
It is clear that Jenny is sick.
很明顯珍妮生病了。
主詞（名詞） + be 動詞 + that + 子句（補語）
範例：
The truth is that he is shy.
事實是他很害羞。

常見錯誤

She told that she was tired.

tell 需要接受詞（人）。若不用 tell，可改用 say：She said (to me) that...

say 不可直接接人，要用 say to + 人；或改用 tell 直接接人。

名詞子句用 that 引導，不用 which/who 等關係代名詞。

原句的 that 是指示形容詞『那一部』，不是連接詞。要用連接詞 that，引導名詞子句，movie 前用冠詞或所有格。

相似文法比較

vs. whether/if 名詞子句

用於是非題（Yes/No）疑問，如『是否…』；that 用於陳述事實。作介系詞後或作主詞時通常用 whether，不用 if；that 不可用於表示『是否』。

vs. that 形容詞子句（關係子句）
