這課的文法：用疑問詞 Where 詢問位置；There is/are ... 問句與答句

沒標記的單字是這課要背的字，大部分是課綱的基本 1200 字（兩個字以上的詞不分級）。標進階的，是另外 800 個常用字。標認識就好的是課本補充的字，看得懂意思就好，不用背。標段考不用背・會考要會的，課本只當補充，但會考會考，還是要背起來。
先想想這個字的中文意思，再點字卡看答案。想不起來就按「不會」，最後會列出這些字。

要說某個地方有東西，用 There is / There are。
後面是單數名詞，用 is。
water（水）這類不可數名詞，也用 is。
後面是複數名詞，像好幾間臥室，就用 are。
There is a sofa in the living room.
（客廳有一張沙發。）
再看一句：
There are three bedrooms in my house.
（我家有三間臥室。）
段考常見陷阱
There have a cat in my bedroom.
There is a cat in my bedroom.
記住：說某個地方有東西，用 There is / are！這裡不要因為中文是「有」就填 have。
小提醒：句子列出好幾樣東西時，看緊接在 is、are 後面的第一組名詞，再決定用 is 還是 are。
你打開餅乾盒，發現裡面一塊餅乾都沒剩！
要說某個地方沒有東西，在 is、are 後面加 not。
is not 可以縮成 isn’t，are not 可以縮成 aren’t。
否定句裡，複數或不可數名詞前常用 any。
not ＋ any 表示「一點也沒有」。
There isn’t any water in the bottle.
（瓶子裡一點水都沒有。）
再看一句：
There aren’t any spiders in the garage.
（車庫裡一隻蜘蛛都沒有。）
段考常見陷阱
There aren’t some cookies in the box.
There aren’t any cookies in the box.
記住：要說一塊餅乾都沒有，用 aren’t any！這句的 any 不要換成 some。
小提醒：There is no cat 和 There isn’t a cat 都是「沒有貓」的意思。any 多用在否定句和問句，some 多用在肯定句，但不能每次都只靠這個分，還要看句子的意思。
你跟朋友打電動，想問這個遊戲裡有沒有動物！
要問某個地方有沒有東西，把 is、are 移到 there 前面。
問單數，用 Is there 開頭。
問複數，常用「Are there any...?」。
簡答也要用 there，像「Yes, there is.」。
Is there a garden behind your house? Yes, there is.
（你家後面有花園嗎？有。）
再看一句：
Are there any animals in the game? No, there aren’t.
（這個遊戲裡有動物嗎？沒有。）
段考常見陷阱
Are there a kitchen in your house?

記住：a kitchen 是單數，要用 Is there！問複數時才用 Are there。
小提醒：Is there 的否定簡答是「No, there isn’t.」。要問「有幾個」，用「How many ＋ 複數名詞 ＋ are there?」。
你準備出門，卻找不到剛剛脫下來的鞋子！
問一個東西在哪裡，用 Where is ＋ 單數名詞。
問複數的東西在哪裡，用 Where are ＋ 複數名詞。
回答單數用 It’s，後面接位置。
回答複數用 They’re，後面也接位置。
Where is my jacket? It’s on the sofa.
（我的夾克在哪裡？在沙發上。）
再看一句：
Where are the chopsticks? They’re next to the plates.
（筷子在哪裡？在盤子旁邊。）
段考常見陷阱
Where is your shoes? They’re under the bed.
Where are your shoes? They’re under the bed.
記住：shoes 是複數，問句要用 are！回答就用 They’re。
小提醒：回答位置時，可以用 in、on、under、behind，也可以用 between、near、next to、in front of。
