固定片語，表示「在展示中／公開陳列」。常與 be 動詞連用（is/are/was/were on display），也可接在 put/place/have 等動詞之後（put something on display）。此片語不加冠詞，不說 on the display；另外 on display 後面不再接名詞。
範例：
The science fair projects are on display in the gym.
科展作品在體育館展出。
其他形式：

最常見結構；主詞通常是被展出的物品。可用於現在/過去/未來等各種時態。
範例：
The winning robot is on display in the library.
得獎的機器人在圖書館展示中。
put ... on display
表示「把……拿出來展示」，主詞為行動者（如學校／博物館）；… 位置放受詞。
範例：
The museum put the dinosaur bones on display last month.

on public display
強調「公開展出」，常見於新聞或公告中，比 on display 稍正式。
