文法摘要

•
用 Where... from 問「來自哪裡／籍貫」，最常見兩種：be from 與 come from
•
be from 用 be 動詞構成；come from 用助動詞 do/does 構成問句，兩者不可混用
•
回答可用 I'm/He's/They're from... 或 I/She comes from...
•
現在式最常見；過去式 was/were、came 表示「當時的」來自地
•
地名用法注意冠詞：Taiwan 不加 the；the USA/the UK 需加 the

基本公式

Where + be 動詞 + 主詞 + from?
用 be from 詢問國籍、家鄉、來源（現在式）
範例：

你來自哪裡？
Where + 助動詞 do/does + 主詞 + 動詞原形 come + from?
用 come from 詢問來源（現在式），第三人稱單數用 does
範例：

答句公式

主詞 + be 動詞 + from + 地點名詞
範例：
I'm from Taiwan.
我來自台灣。
主詞 + 動詞原形 come/第三人稱單數 comes + from + 地點名詞
範例：

主詞 + be 動詞過去式 was/were + from + 地點名詞
範例：
He was from Spain.
他當時來自西班牙。

常見錯誤

問句不能同時用 be 動詞與動詞 come；be from 與 come from 是兩種不同結構。

be from 結構需要 be 動詞，不可省略。

肯定句第三人稱單數一般動詞要加 -s；助動詞只出現在問句。

不要把 am 和 come 放在同一個結構中；二選一：be from 或 come from。
