形式與用法

stand in someone's way
表示「成為某人的阻礙/擋路」。someone 可換成 my/your/his/her/our/their 等所有格，再接 way。可指抽象阻礙（恐懼、壞習慣）或具體阻擋（人站在門口）。
範例：
Don’t let fear stand in your way.
不要讓恐懼阻礙你。
其他形式：
stand in the way of + N/V-ing
強調「阻礙某事的發生/發展」。the way 後面一定要接 of，再接名詞或動名詞（V-ing）。語氣比單純 someone’s way 更「對事」而非「對人」。
範例：
